Listen as he discusses the IBA program and what it takes for a property to be considered an IBA. He also talks about seabirds and some of his state’s IBA properties off shore.

Petersen is very knowledgable and well known in the birding world. He covers a lot of ground in the interview, so give it a listen here. 072212 Wayne Peterson.mp3 #2

Early in the show, Chris Bosak and co-host Mardi Dickinson discuss topics such as birding the Norwalk Islands and Great Blue Herons. Chris Bosak also takes a look back at birding by reading a chapter about Northern Bobwhites from a 1934 book.
