Rufous hummingbird in Norwalk

Rufous hummingbird by Chris Bosak (copyright, all right reserved)

A rufous hummingbird visited a Norwalk backyard feeder this week. Keep your eyes open for these (and other) western hummingbirds paying a visit to the East.

Again, don’t forget John Fitzpatrick, director of The Cornell Lab of Ornithology, will be the guest tomorrow on Bird Calls.

As always, thanks for checking in with Bird Calls Radio. Be sure to check out Bird Calls every Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m. on WSTC/WNLK AM1400/1350 (in S. CT and nearby NY) or http://birdcallsradio.com/listen-live/ from anywhere in the world (where there’s Internet access, that is.)
